This Tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP.
This Tutiorial was written on December 10th,2009.
The tutorial was written and Created by me.
For This Tutorial I used PSP XII but you should be able to use any version.
~Supplies Needed~
Tubes of choice~I use the fantastic art work of Keith Garvey
he is a licensed artist with MPT you can find his tubes here
Font~Any Font of choice
I used SnagglePuss by ROB.
Scrap Kit of choice or the one I used By Clarey called "Winter Bliss" which can be found atClarey Designz it is a PTU Kit!
Ali's Template #114 which you can find and download at Designs By Ali.
This is a fairly simple tutorial.
:o) Ok Lets get started!
Open up the Template in PSP
Delete the Copyright layer
Open your tube of choice and minimize it.
Delete the Snowflak layers unless you'd like to keep them
depending on the kit your using if different then Clareys.
Making sure your the Raster 1 in your layers palette go to Selections,Select All,Float,
Defloat and copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer.Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard,Selections,Invert.
Now if using the same tube I have copy and paste the close up as New Layer,
Go to Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard and then
Selections,Select None.
Now name your paper layer Frame Back 1 and your tube Tube 1 and
Delete the Template later named "Raster 1"
Do the same as above with Raster Layer 2
On each tube layer if you would like to apply the image effect Ive used to
give it an aged look all you have to do is go to
Effects,Photo Effects,Sepia Toning.
Making sure Amount to age is at 40 and click ok.
Do this for both tubes in the frame.
Now on Raster 3 and 4 doing each one by one go to Selections
Select All,Float,Defloat and copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer.
Making sure your paper layer is highlighted in your Layers palette go to
Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard and then Selections,Select None.
Name the paper layer Frame 1 and Delete the Template Layer.
Do this with Raster 4 as well but naming the paper layer Frame 2.
Dont forget to Delete the template layers.
Now if using the same kit I have take Clareys Wired Flower
and resize by 50% and place behing the tag and at each side.
You can see my tag above for placement if you'd like.
Now take Clareys winter tree and copy and paste as a new layer
and resize by 50% and place off to the right hand side of the tag.
Or if you'd like where you feel it would belong. :o)
Now taking Clareys Frosted Foliage resize by 50% and palce behind
the Winter Tree,again if needed you can see my tag above for placement.
Takinf anyother elements of choice from her kit and place on your tag.
You can see my tag above once again for any other elements used as well as palcement.
Place your main tube where you would like it on your tag as well.
Make sure you give your tube a slight drop shadow of 2,2,50,5.00.
Your Frame layers the same drop shadow.
If needed do the same for any elements you've used.
Add your name and approperate copyright and license number if needed
I gave my name a drop shadow with the same settings as above.
Now save image as a png and
Thats it your done
