This Tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. This Tutiorial was written on September 1,2008 The tutorial was written and Created by Rachel (Rachelz_Designz) For This Tutorial I used PSP 12 but you should be able to use any version ~Supplies Needed~ Tube of choice~I use the fantastic art work of Keith Garvey hes a licensed artist with MPT you can find his tubes here.. Font of choice Scrap Kit of choice or the one I used by Lynne called Wine and Roses which you can find at Babycakes Scraps. . Yvette's Template # 11 which you can find and download on her blog Essence of Creativity. ********************** Ok lets get started! Open Yvette's Template in PSP. Where going to actually use her canvas the template is on. Delete the © layer ** Now in your layers Palette making sure your on your lage circle layer go to Selection,Select All,Float,Defloat and copy and paste a paper of choice from the kit as a new layer. Once happy with placement and size if you needed To resize go to Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard,Select None. Rename your paper layer Big Circle 1 and delete the template layer. ** Making sure your butterfly layer is selected in your layer palette do the same as above but name your paper layer Butterfly and delete the template layer. ** Taking you magic wand Feather 0,Tolerence 0 click in the center of of your Large rectangle and copy and paste a Paper of choice as a new layer once happy with placement and size for to Selections,Invert and hit delete on your keyboard now go back to Selection and click on Invert. Now copy and paste a tube of choice as a new layer and once happy with palement and size duplicate and hide the top tube layer. On your Duplicate go to Selections,Invert,Delete and Select None unhide your top tube layer and erase the parts of the tube that are overlapping your frame. ** Taking your magic wand click on the frame of your Large Rectangle layer and copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer Selections,Invert,Delete. Now you can delete the Large Rectangle Template layer if youd like or your can leave it.Its up to you. ** Your going to do the same as above for Small Rectangle layers 1 and 2 if by chance you have any Overlapping from your tube that your copy and paste just take your eraser tool and erase any overlapping edges. ** From your Scrap kit take any elelments youd like to place on your tag and do so now.If your using the same kit I did you can see my tag above for placement and elements used.You may need to do some resizing if you've used the same kit I did and the same elements. ** You can give your tube and slight drop shadow of choice as well as your elements. Now close your white background and merge everything else visible.Dupliacte your tag and on the bottom layer fo to Adjust,Blur,Gaussan Blur,10.00 and click ok you now want to go to your filters and use the VM Extrvagnaza Scanlines set at defult and click ok. ** Now add your name and give a slight drop shadow. Add any copyright and your license number if you've used a PTU artist as I did. Dont forget to give yourself credit for making the tag. Change the file name and save as a png. Thats it your done!
