Snow Princess

This Tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. This Tutiorial was written on December 22nd,2008 The tutorial was written and Created by Rachel (Rachelz_Designz) For This Tutorial I used PSP 12 ** ~Supplies Needed~ Tubes of choice~I used the fantastic art work of Big Chris Hes a licensed artist with MPT. Font of choice Scrap Kit of choice or the one I used by Laura called Snow Princess which you can find at Cinnamon Scraps it is a PTU (Pay To Use) kit. Ali's Template #104 Which you can find and download from her blog Designs By Ali. **** Ok lets get started! Open Ali's Template in PSP. Where going to actually use her canvas the template is on so delete the copyright layer. * On Shape 1 in your layers Palette go to Selections,Select All,Float,Defloat and copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer then go to Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard.Selections,Invert.Now copy and paste a tube of choice and a bling of choice from the kit as a new layer. The Bling we're going to Animate layer in the tutorial so make sure you spread it out inside the heart. Once happy with placement and size go to Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard then Selections,Select None. Name the paper layer Shape 1 and delete the template layer. Do the above if you want to add more bling from the kit into the heart. * Now Go to Shape 2 then Selections,Select All,Float,Defloat,and copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer.Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard.Selections,Select None. Name the paper layer Shape 2 and delete the template layer. * Now on the Snow Layer go to Selections,Select All,Float,Defloat. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer then go to Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard then Selections,Select None. . Name the paper layer Snow and delete the template layer. Do the same as above for Layer 2 Layer. * If you'd like you can delete the Snow Layer if your using the same kit I have. If not feel free to keep the word art if using a different kit. Now copy and paste you main tube as a new layer. Give it a slight drop shadow of choice. * Give all paper layers a slight drop shadow of choice. Add any elements from the kit and give them a slight drop shadow as well. I used Doodle 1 and placed it behind the heart and let it stick out just a bit. You can resize this if needed When happy with placement go to Image,Mirror,Image,Flip and fix if needed. I also used the bougainville Flowers and placed them behind the heart and made them stick out just a bit. You can do this the same way you did the Doodle. You can feel free to add other elements as well if you'd like. * Now add approperate copyright and license number if needed. Add your name and give that a slight drop shadow of choice. Merge Image and save as a png. * Now To Animate In PSP If You've used one of the pearl blings from the kit and have it spread out inside your heart keep reading. First thing your going to so is close off all layer but your Bling layers. When all layers are closed off making sure your on your bling layers or one of them go to Merge Visible. Name your bling layer Pearl Bling. Unhide All Layers. * Now on your Pearl Bling layer go to Effects,DSB Flux,Bright Noise Settings are 30 hit Mix Once and click ok. Now right clicking on your tag Copy Merge/ * In Animation Shop Paste as a new Image. * In PSP click the Undo button on the top bar. Its an arrow that points back Once done with this step go back to Effects, DSK Flux,Bright Noise with settings at 30 and click on Mix twice. Click on your tag and Copy Merge again * Now In Animation Shop Click on your tag and Paste After Current Frame You should now have 2 frames in Animtion Shop Once right after the other * Now back over in PSP Click the Undo Button once again this will undo the Animtion. Then go to Effects,DSB Flux,Bright Noise with Settings at 30,click on Mix 3 times and click ok. Click on your tag one more time and Copy Merge it * In Aniamtion Shop Click on your tag and making sure your on Frame 2 Paste After Current Frame. You should now have a total of 3 frames in the tag.
