Snowflake Dreams

This Tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. This Tutiorial was written on December 21st,2008 The tutorial was written and Created by Rachel (Rachelz_Designz) For This Tutorial I used PSP 12 ** ~Supplies Needed~ Tubes of choice~I used the fantastic art work of Keith Garvey Hes a licensed artist with MPT. Font of choice Scrap Kit of choice or the one I used by Laura called Love Never Melts which you can find at Cinnamon Scraps it is a FTU (Free To Use) kit. Ali's Template #103 Which you can find and download from her blog Designs By Ali. **** Ok lets get started! Open Ali's Template in PSP. Where going to actually use her canvas the template is on so delete the copyright layer. * On Shape 1 in your layers Palette go to Selections,Select All,Float,Defloat and copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer then go to Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard.Selections,Invert.Now copy and paste a tube of choice as a new layer. Once happy with placement and size go to Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard then Selections,Select None. Name the paper layer Shape 1 and delete the template layer. * Go to Layer 1 then Selections,Select All,Float,Defloat,and copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer.Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard. Name the paper layer Layer 1 and delete the template layer. * Now on Layer 2 go to Selections,Select All,Float,Defloat. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer then go to Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard then Selections,Select None. . Name the paper layer Layer 2 and delete the template layer. Do the same as above for Shape 2 Layer. * Making sure your on the Snowflake Layer in your layers Palette go to Selections,Select All,Float,Defloat Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer and once happy with placement Selections,Invert,Delete Selections, Select None name the paper layer Snowflake and delete the template layer. * Now on your Dreams Layer go to Selections,Select All,Float,Defloat and copt and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Selections,Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard.Selections,Select None. Name the paper layer Dreams and delete the template layer. * Now copy and paste you main tube as a new layer. Give it a slight drop shadow of choice. * Give all paper layers a slight drop shadow of choice. Add any elements from the kit and give them a slight drop shadow as well. If your using the same kit as I have your can see my tag above for elements used and placement. * Now add approperate copyright and license number if needed. Add your name and give that a slight drop shadow of choice. Merge Image and save as a png. * Thats it your done! Thank you so much for trying my tutorial. ~Rachel Get a hit counter here!
