Sexy Soldier

This Tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. This Tutiorial was written on March 31st,2009! The tutorial was written and Created by Rachel (Rachelz_Designz) For This Tutorial I used PSP 10 ~Supplies Needed~ Font Of Choice~I used Bagpack I used the fantastic work of Elias Chatzoudis you can find his work at My PSP Tubes Scrap Kit of choice or the one I used by Diane called Hero which you can find at Candy Treats it is a PTU kit. Mask WSL_Mask 49 by Chelle and you can find this at Wesscotslass Just click on Navagate then Downloads. Ok lets get started! Open your Mask in PSP and minimize it for now. Open your tube of choice and minimize as well. Now open a new transparent canvas 600 by 600 In the kit open up Frame 2 in PSP. Now copy and paste it as a new layer in your fresh canvas. Move the frame towards the top just a bit. Now taking your magic wand click inside the first frame. Go to Selections, Modify, Expand by 4 and click ok. Now open your tube and copy and paste as a new layer in PSP. Taking your tube place a part of it in the first frame. Once happy with placement go to Selections,Invert, hit Delete on your keyboard then Selections, Select None. Take your tube and drag it under your frame layer in your Layers Palette. Your going to do the same as above for the middle frame and the right hand side frame. Now when finished with your tube you can place it like I did above. You can see my tag anytime for refrence and placement of any items. Take your Magic Wand and click inside all 3 frames this time. Make sure you have every part of your frame selected. Go to Selections, Modify, Expand by 4 and click ok. Take a paper of choice from the kit and copy and paste as a new layer. Now go to Selections, Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard then Selections, Select None. Drag your paper layer under your frame and tube layers so its behind your tubes in the frame. Now taking the Soldier word art from the kit copy and paste it as a new layer and place it on the bottom of your canvas. Then take any Elements you'd like from the kit and place on your tag. If you'd like to use the same elements I have you can see my tag above for placement and elements used. When finished take a paper of choice and copy and paste it as a new layer on your canvas. Make sure its underneath all of your layers and on the very bottom in your layers palette. To add the mask go to Layers, New Mask Layer, From Image and find the Mask you have minimized in PSP in the drop down window. Make sure Source Luminance is checked and Invert Mask Data is unchecked. Now click ok. In Your Layers Palette right click on the mask layer and Merge group. Now Dupliacte the Mask layer. Move each mask layer put one to the right hand side of your tag then the other to the left hand side. Give your Elements a drop shadow of 2,2,50,5.00 as well as your tube. Add your name and give this the same drop shadow as above. Add approate copyright and license number if needed. Merge Image and save as a png. Thats it your done!
