Frostys Friends

This Tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. This Tutiorial was written on January 2nd,2009 The tutorial was written and Created by Rachel (Rachelz_Designz) For This Tutorial I used PSP 12 ~Supplies Needed~ There are no Tube for this tutorial. Scrap Kit of choice or the one I used by Ali called Frostys Friends which you can find at Dezings By Ali it is a PTU kit. Alis Template # 110 Which you can find and download from her blog Dezigns By Ali. Ok lets get started! Open Ali's Template in PSP. Where going to actually use her canvas the template is on so delete the copyright layer. We're going to Delete the following Layers Raster 1, 4, 3, 7, 8, and cCopy of Raster 8 The only layer2 you should have now is Raster 9 and 2. On Raster 2 got to Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Then Selections, Invert and hit Delete on your keyboard. Selections,Select None. Delete the Template Layer and name the paper layer Back. Do the same with Raster Layer 9 naming the paper layer Snowflakes and delete the Template Layer. Now from Alis Kit tkae the Frosys Friends snow and place at the bottom but make sure its flush with the bottom of the Back layer. Duplicate it 2 more times and just drop each laye down just a bit. Once Happy Merge Visible and then go to Adjust, Add Remove Noise, Add Noise Make sure Uniform is selected and Noise is at 50% then click ok. Take the Frostys Friends Frosty 1 and place on the left hand side of your tag. Take One of the Trees and palce behind Frosty and resize if needed Give Frosty and the Tree a drop shadow of 3,3,50,5.00 and click ok. Now take Frostys Friends Frosty 6 and place on the right hand side of your tag and resize a bit. Take another Tree of choice ans place behind them/ You may need to resize the tree a bit. When finished give the Tree and Friends a drop shadow of 3,3,50,5.00 and click ok. Add once of the Ornaments from the kit and place in the middle of the tag You can also take a bow,resize by 50% and place over the ornament so it looks as though its holding it up. Give these a drop shadoa of 2,2,50,5.00. Now add approperate copyright and license number if needed. Add your name and give that a slight drop shadow of choice. Merge Image and save as a png.
